Size is distance, not ego
Ring light price in Pakistan jumps with diameter, but the real question is how far the light sits from your face or product. A 10-inch ring pressed close can look beautiful for makeup. That same light three metres away for a full-body outfit check is a dim halo.
Pick by what you film
- 10-inch USB rings: Desk Zoom, tuition classes, close beauty. Often powered from a laptop or power bank. Fine for hostel desks.
- 14-inch mains rings: Upper-body TikTok, barber reels, kitchen recipes. This is the default creators ask for after one bad 10-inch mistake.
- 18-inch studio rings: Salons, bridal dressing rooms, product tables wider than your arms. Needs space and a stand that will not tip.
Colour temperature and eyes
Warm and cool toggles matter when you film near a window in Rawalpindi afternoons. If the dial only says brightness, you will fight yellow walls in post. Slide through modes at COD and look at skin tone, not the seller thumbnail.
